Soraksan is a dark ambient artist based in South Korea, influenced by Korean folklore and shamanism.

Chapter 1: The Village Curse

“The village lay resting in a valley, where its homes faced the sun, with a stream babbling nearby. The land was fertile - when seasons were good - and the high mountain walls secured the land against the harshest elements. It was a good place. Auspicious. But that was only in daylight. For every fortune the village enjoyed, it suffered tenfold in misfortune. For none of the good things mattered when the sun set. The valley, the stream, the land, and even the high mountain walls, all the purveyors of goodness for the village, were unseen in nighttime's darkness. And that's what wicked things love most... darkness. The village is sick and only the power of a shaman is the cure.”

This album makes you feel like you're inside an old computer that is on it's last legs. Everything is glitchy, aggressive, and decaying around you.
